Held at the Bahrain International Circuit in Manama (Bahrain), the Desert 400 has, until 2010, been the only V8 Supercar event staged outside of Australasia. Held since 2006, the Desert 400 continues to be one of the premier events on the V8 Supercar calendar.

Clipsal 500 Adelaide
The Clipsal 500 Adelaide is the most successful event on the V8 Supercars calendar, with 272,800 fans attending in 2009. In 2008, the event was attended by a massive crowd of 291,400 which is the largest attendance of a domestic motorsport event in Australia.
From 2000 to 2003 the race was dominated by Holden teams, with three wins to Mark Skaife and one to Jason Bright. It wasn't until 2004 that a Ford driver won the event, with Marcos Ambrose successful that year. Marcos Ambrose won again in 2005 and Jamie Whincup was the winner in 2006. In 2007, Rick Kelly won the Clipsal 500 Adelaide. And in 2008 the winner was Jamie Whincup again, who repeated his success in 2009.

2009 Sydney Telstra 500
V8 Supercars Australia will crown the 2009 V8 Supercar Champion on the streets of the Sydney Olympic Park Precinct, Homebush Bay. The Sydney 500 V8 race will be more than just a motor race, it will be a three day world class event offering spectacular on and off track entertainment for all ages.

Skycity Triple Crown Hidden Valley Darwin
Five kilometers south of Darwin, Hidden Valley Raceway is a fantastic track, offering the likes of Winterbottom, Tander, Whincup and the Kelly Brothers passing opportunities a plenty and usually shows some great racing. The track has many high speed characteristics, with the main feature its 1.1-kilometre long straight where the V8 Supercars can reach up to 265km/h. Also known for its Turn 5 hairpin where the average speed mid corner is just 65 km/h. A V8 Supercar that flows well through the sweeping bends in the second part of the track should be expected to post a quick lap time.
First held in 1998, the event has continued to grow from year to year.
At our drivers forum in 2009 we had Ford Performance Racing’s Mark “Frosty” Winterbottom and Michael Caruso from Holden’s Garry Rogers Motorsports, who ended winning the race on Sunday.

2010 Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000
